ABOUT
Love Goya Studio is an illustration studio that brings everyday moments to life through gouache, watercolor, and digital illustrations. We specialize in custom drawings of pets, people, and places, as well as surface patterns and illustrations for licensing or purchase.
THE NAME
Love Goya Studio was founded in honor of a very special dog and soulmate. Goya jumped into my lap on a rooftop in Brooklyn (before rooftops in Brooklyn were cool), and I adopted her the next day. People often said, “She’s so lucky you rescued her,” but any true dog lover knows—I was the lucky one. Her memory lives on in every illustration, with love, from our studio.
THE ARTIST
Elizabeth Southworth is an Illustrator and Creative Director. A graduate of Pratt Institute, her creative career began as an illustrator for tabletop design at Macy’s, but over time, Elizabeth transitioned into the role of Creative Director for Pandora Jewelry, where she honed her skills in design and leadership. Despite her success in the corporate world, she has always carried the dream of returning to her roots in illustration and commercial art—a dream that blossomed into Love Goya Studio.
Elizabeth grew up in Virginia and has called NYC & Puerto Rico home before finally settling in the DMV area. A mom of two young children, she’s inspired everyday by her family, her heritage (Korean & Puerto Rican) and the creative communities she is a part of.
Elizabeth also offers a variety of services on on a freelance and/or contract basis. Services include: Graphic Design, Illustration, Art Direction, etc. To inquire about services, please visit her portfolio site and reach out to liz@elizabethsouthworth.com.
